About Vickie Hammer

Photography began as a hobby that I could share as a common interest with my son. Within a few months we were urged by friends and co-workers to sell our photographs commercially, and Blue Mountain Prints was born.

We are fortunate to live in the Shenandoah Valley, where there are so many unique places and people to provide an almost endless supply of pictures in our own backyard. From the stunning vista of The Point atop the Blue Ridge Mountains, or our own ancestral homestead near Grove Hill, you could not find a more beautiful place in the entire world. I believe the interest in pictures from our little road trips is proof of that.
